Adrianna I need to know what you can do this week. From my notes I noticed that we have the Website thumbnails to do. We also need to work on the instructions menu, screen interface, Website banners, and t-shirts.
I was thinking I would work on the instructions menu's and screen interface if you could pull my files from box.net and work on the banners and t-shirts. As for the Website thumbnails I don't know if you want us to work together on it again or not (the 25 thumbnails each)? If you don't want to work together (Since some of team mentioned we need to separate projects) then one of us can work on the Website thumbnails and do the CD/CD Case thumbnails.
I know we have a lot to do but hang in there and I will be checking the blog on my blackberry I just cannot respond to blog posts from it. If anything comes up I will be able to post Sunday morning.

I have no problems working on the Banners and T-shirts which I'm guessing will include a logo but I'm not certain about the website. It is certainly a big project and very important , I just wonder if it is too big/important for one person to work on?
ReplyDeleteAs for the CD/Case, we do not need to worry about that this week, neither of us or the group said that needed to be done this week and there is no reason to stretch ourselves thin again.
Maybe we should take care of what needs to be done by monday and go from there.
We need everything updated by Monday afternoon which includes:
In Game Interface (Change the way the information is given to the player a bit in the bar, Personally I think there are too many words but something needs to be done since during the critique look of the information needs to be iterated.)
Banners (Polish them)
Instructions Menus (Add a button or change a description.)
Team Logo for T-shirt (May need to be turned in later as it requires team input and thumbnails, sketches, etc... .)
After Monday the next things that should be worked on are the website and logo which will require thumbnailing and sketching not to mention the digital final. Having a digital version may be alot to ask to have done by Thursday but I'm sure the thumbnails and sketches could get done by then.
What do you thikn of this? We just need to figure out how to split the work. Maybe we should each work on one thing and then meet on Monday to work on the third together? Then we can decide on the website and Logo workload?
I have already dropped all the files I have for documentation. I left out the marketing stuff in the documentation since we just started working on that stuff.
ReplyDeleteI am working on the screen interface trying to come up with ways to present the information better to the player. I am also working on the instructions menu's but it looks like we are changing the buttons so we know even after this change we will need to update it again this week.
I am also missing some of my old files so I may have to go back and redo some work for the documentation.
As for the Website I think that we should focus on the thumbnails and sketches for this week. I agree we are going to have to put off the CD/CD Case till later.
Malina we have to include the Marketing stuff in the documentation. Kim said she wanted EVERYTHING up until now. Everything up until now includes Marketing.
ReplyDeleteYes the information is going to change, we already know that. Also if you had read my posts I have already said that I have some of your old work and am putting it in the document format for you. You can look at it late today/tomorrow and make sure it's all there if you like.
Document First and sketches later for me. At this point only a few team members have their document work finished, like four.
