Website Banners
I went with the size that most websites required. So here are some quick images I took from the animations. Please download the swf files from box.net - milestone 5 - Malina's website banners. I know they still need some work the text animation and clean up of the banners edges needs to be done. Let me know what you think so far. Thanks team, I will see you all tomorrow morning.

I like the horizontal Banner, the vertical one I'm not so fond of. The green covers everything and the raptors head is cut off at the nose. Instead of "Coming Out" it should say "Play Now", that would encourage people to click on the banner and when we put the site up the game will already be on it, it would already be out.
ReplyDeleteMost banners are flash nowadays. I think ours should too so that we can use animation to draw a potential player's eye and hopefully get a click. A static picture probably doesn't get as much attention.
ReplyDeleteWell I like the banner at the bottom. Its simple and its cool to me. But I would like to see a change in zalien pose like him holding the gun or just doing something more cool then what he is doing now. To give the players more of a point of what they will be doing. Or to fake them out.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Justin. Most all banners are animated in some way, shape, or form. Even if there was just something flashing, (Ee). Something to get people to look. I like the directions though. The raptor on the top one should be moved backward, let's see more teeth. Afterall, that's what chompies the compy's. Yeah, I know, that was bad.
