Ok guys I have put the ground in the milestones folder.
So the ground is up and I am also going to upload the new tutorial ground also. So you can put that in the game also. So there you go Tom, let me know if anything needs to be fixed.
Dan everything is still in separate movieClips. I need the ground in one single movieClip. Take a look at the ground for the tutorial level that you handed me a while ago. It's in milestone 4 folder, called "groundfinal.fla".
This ground isn't finished, but notice how there is no movieClips. It's all contained on the stage. This is what I need. For convenience you can work inside of one movieClip. But your file shouldn't have more then one movieClip.
Again look at the tutorial ground that I mentioned and notice in the library you have no movieClips. This is what I need. Anything else will not work in the game.
Tom how do I do it I need to know how to move it all in one movie clip. can you tell me. or give me a tutorial or something. So I can move all this shit. I really need to learn this and I will look at it so that I can see how to move it all into one movie clip.
Like with the tutorial level you did it should all have been painted inside of one movieClip to begin with. The only way I can see to fix it now is to make a main movieClip and copy and paste all of the shapes that are inside of every movieClip. It may sound confusing over the internet but this should be your process:
1. Create main empty movieClip 2. Go "inside" of one of the movieClips that have something in it. 3. Highlight all of the shapes in that movieClip and copy that. 4. Exit out of the movieClip back to the stage. 5. Go "inside" of your main movieClip. 6. Paste the info you have and place it in the correct position. 7. Repeat steps 2 - 6 until every movieClip you have is no longer needed.
Again this may sound confusing but it's the only way I can think to explain it (maybe someone else can explain better).
sweet , ill adjust the ground to match. I want to get these done and loaded before work tonite hopefully.
