I have the animation and color done for the vines. I was wondering for the vine animation, should I keep the leaves on? Do you think it would be distracting for the player? I have loaded both swf and fla to box.net so please check them out and comment.
Also it looks like the rib cage spikes are the winner in this contest so I'll be posting some more of them later on tonight.

I think the leaves are ok but use them at the top of the vines were the player won't climb much.

ReplyDeleteThe vine looks like a tentacle without the leaves though. I don't like the look of the vines without the leaves. Maybe a texture on it then? Or filaments from the vine sticking out?
ReplyDeleteThere should be something on/in the vines that make them known right away. Maybe a combo of the features mentioned above, leaves on top, filaments in the middle, and texture on the bottom? Just a thought.
