Drawing influences

I wanted to explain the newer drawings of the trees. This image is the inspiration for the trees with the vines which I thought looked more prehistoric. The leaves were more of a collection of larger narrow leaves than a bunch of smaller ones.









This image was a better representation of the cypress trees which with the suggestion in Tuesdays meeting was to make more strait roots with something beneath them, i made them a little cleaner than I first did because I thought it looked a little more like Shelbys art. The ship was draw bigger when I was told that the alien was part of a larger mission not just a single scout.
