Got it.

Everything is up! Take a look and let me know what you need changed if anything. I have iterated all the Pause Menus, as well as the Main Menu Instructions and Quit screens, and the Loss screens.

(Nothing Major Malina, just the little things Kim wanted)

Again, they are in the "Updated_Interfaces" folder in the "Milestone 4" folder.

  1. Thanks again for doing the small changes. Forgot a couple things. We were going to call the Invicibility "Ghostrig" so players know what to call it. Also I thought we had to animate the star on the instructions screen too? I think with the really short keys like S=Jump dont we end up with a lot of blank space that looks odd? Thats why I put a sentence instead of just the word. Just some thoughts.

  2. I tried going with the less is more idea, even if there is alot of big space used up. I wasn't sure about the Ghostrig thing so I'll have to ask. The Stars animation took up alot of space, so to keep it a size we can see and identify I kept it as is.

  3. Not everything that needs to be fixed was fixed yet.

    Main Menu Instructions Screen:

    You shouldn't be able to roll over nothing and have instructions pop up.

    Start and Quit still jiggle when you roll over them.

    "R" activates the ghost rig, not invincibility or invisibility.

    "Element Pickup Item" should read "Earth Element".

    The stars are STILL not the animated stars Krissy made.

    Main Menu Quit Screen:

    "Quiting Game?" should be "Quit Game?"

    Different colors for buttons we wish the player wouldn't press.

    Stats Loss Screen:

    Remove the ".........." after Rebooting.

    Rebooting should be all caps.

    MISC:

    Each screen's title has a different boarder around the title. White, black, blured, etc. These need to be more consistent.

    There may be more, please check your notes.

  4. 1. Couldn't fix the roll over nothing situation, I tried various methods and all failed. I mentioned this on your post as well.

    2.I fixed the text Jiggles and mentioned that in the comments on your post as well.

    3. Ghost Rig, Quit Game, Rigging, Rebooting, and Earth Element are fixed.

    4. Mentioned this before but the Stars animation DOES NOT FIT the button. When I shrink it so it does fit it loses all readability. It IS Krissy's Star art however.

    6. Kim never said to remove the "........." Just fix the Kerning, which I did. They were just supposed to be closer together.

    7. Kim said to change the colors OR the opacity/Alpha. I changed their opacity instead because changing the colors of the buttons or their rollovers was a bit of a disconnect from the overall interface.

    8. I can read and everything is in the "Updated_Interfaces" folder.

    Sorry about the response time, I ate something bad apparently and now I'm paying for it with cramps and.....other, less pleasant things.

  5. I almost forgot, of course the borders are going to be different in the in game menu screens. They use almost a whole different set of colors.

  6. 1. Use a hit box for the button. The last frame in the button animation is the hit box. Remove everything from this frame and fill it with only the area you want the rollover to work. Flash 1 stuff...

    4. I don't ever remember anyone saying that and what's more I don't think that if the star went out of the bounds of it's rollover that anything negative would happen.

    5. You skiped this one.

    6. We aren't supposed to use Kim as a crutch. Also, to me it looks lopsided. Every other title is centered"ish" and that one looks very inconsisitent.

    7. You only changed the quit button in ONE screen. Main Menu and Main Menu Quit are still untouched.
