Lag

BIG TIME.

Did not see this coming. This is a HUGE problem. I'm not sure how to fix it. It seems fine in one file and horrible in another. I'm confused, tired and generally angry. First I thought it was the sound, then the animations, now I think if I get rid of all the trees it works ok, but we had trees in the other version so who knows.

The strangest thing about all of this...if you play it through flash it runs perfectly. It only lags when you open the swf on its own. Hmm.



UPDATE!!!!!
Wait a minute. Now if I open it in Firefox it works perfectly as well. I'm going to look into problems with the new flash player. So confused. :(


UPDATE 2!
Still tired. My job may change depending on what we decide as a team. I think I may have to go through all of our code and optimize it. That might be our biggest problem. Sigh.
