Been working on the star and water animation and I think I got it. The only thing that I am having a problem is making the splash. I will work on it again when I got a clear head.. you know sometimes you have wait a few until you can finally see how to do it. Until I have that moment, here are the star and water animation for your. Both fla and swf are up in box.net.

I like it, and I think it fits the style but it could use some little touches beneath the waves to give it abetter illusion of flow and maybe other smaller waves behind this main layer
