Banners/Win Screen

Ok the new Banners are up, at least the swf files are. Box.net is not liking my flash files at the moment but they will be up until then like I said the .swf files are there to be admired and ogled.

Give me some feed back if you can.

As for the Win screen. Tom the issues you mentioned to me yesterday have been taken care of. If looks the same as before but it may take me a minute to upload it while the Box is being square.

  2. I do like the horznial banner, the flying dino in the back makes it. I'm not too sure on the vertical banner it seems that something its missing, maybe a different background color might work or some type of image.

  3. You've added some tweens to the animations to smooth them out but I can't help but notice you have the fps set to 5 which makes it seem like it's still frame by frame. What if we bump it up to 15 or 24 or 30?

Also, I noticed that the horrizontal bar is still not an standard resolution. Maybe you just read it wrong? You've got it at 468x90 and it should be 468x60. I think I know why you went bigger though since 60 pixels really isnt a lot to show anything off with. Esspecialy in flash.

I went to IGN's advertising website and found that they have WAY more sizes to choose from for advertising on their site. And according to their "rules" I think we can use a size of 728x90 or 954x125.

  5. So I left the window on box.net with the horizontal banner open for a period of time and I've noticed that since there isn't any stops in your animation they just loop. And since the dino move in animations are different lengths they repeat at different times now. Looks very odd. And the pterodactyl is very weird. It seems to repeat almost randomly. I'm not sure what that's all about.

The compositions I'm fine with but there are a few things that need atention.

  6. True story, the dino vanish, is odd. Unless that was part of the design process. Maybe a quick loss of a color concentration will draw the eye more...
