Bug and Platforms

Bug animation is done, he now moves his body as he walks. For the thorn bush, I think I would have to wait, cause I don't have the updated version with level 1. Also I have been also working on the cave platforms, here is some of the concept for them. Todd, have you started on the cave background yet? Oh the right of the stuff is up in my milestone folder week5 in milestone.

File names - bugwalk2.fla, caveplatforms.fla (or platformcaves... I forgot :x)

    I like the look of the platform and the crystals the only thing that is kinda bothering me is that the platform is black and flat. There is nothing to make it pop at the player and the flat black may make it blend into the background of the cave.

    I love the crystals they will give a good color balance to the cave. The platforms themselves may look better with some grey and brown tones? I think you may want to do some test color comps.

    Krissy, I looked at your new bug animation and the leg movements look good (maybe a little fast) but I think the problem was when you had it in the game it seemed liked it was sliding instead of walking. I would have to see the animation in the game to really get the feel of the movement I think.

    I really like those crystals! Though I do also agree that the platforms shouldn't be just a solid black either. Maybe have the platforms have a black outline, but fill them in with a brown or gray? Just an idea!

    Uh... the fill in color is a dark purple not black :X

    Oh!

    I think because only one color was used it looks black. Maybe add some brown and purple highlights/shading to really make the color pop then?

    I think it should be a mix of black and brown. That is what I think. Krissy this where you and I have to work together so we can get the crystal ground working well with the environment. So we will discuss this on tuesday. I wont be getting any sleep so I will be up.

    I agree about the platforms looking flat.

    Is this the color that's going to be used by you and Todd for everything in the cave?
