Quit Menu?
Okay I finally finished the new quit menu. I kept the same idea of using the glove as explained in the information menu. For this menu I tucked the information dashboards button slide out under the monitor. The animations include the flicker of the small red lite, the decrease and increase of battery power and the data input. Please leave comments to let me know if these work for everyone. I really would like to see the menus in the game.

This art style doesn't even come close to matching Shelby's style. Shelby uses thick black lines, and everything is drawn by hand. Compare these two styles and they look like they are from totally separate games.
ReplyDeleteAlso, in your work, you are very inconsistent. On the quit screen you have a touch screen interface. Where the help screen has a magical control panel that appears with analog buttons. Also the arm isn't even the same size in both screens.
Another interesting thing of note, Shelby doesn't use ANY filters. This is probably the biggest difference between the two styles. I think you need to bust out the tablet and go to town actually drawing what you are trying to make. I see this as the only way to get the art all on the same page.
I agree. The art style is completely different. The tablet would probably be the best route for the matching needed. Set up a couple of her color comps next to your work station and replicate. Do you have anything for the in game (tutorial) interface?
